Maryam Rajavi and Rudy Giuliani Meet at the NCRI Headquarters in France

Maryam Rajavi and Rudy Giuliani Meet at the NCRI Headquarters in France

Giuliani: The Iranian resistance is a viable alternative to the cleric regime
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), met Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Friday, June 30, at the NCRI headquarters in Auvers-sur-Oise, northwest of Paris.
Mayor Giuliani pointed to the Iranian regime’s malign activities in the region, stressing that the mullahs are the source instability and crisis in the region, and have kept their grip on power in the past 38 years through widespread repression and blatant disregard for human rights at home and the export of extremism and terrorism abroad.
The former New York City Mayor emphasized that the Iranian regime has been the most active state sponsor of terrorism and Islamic extremism in the past three decades, and that Hassan Rouhani has been a key player in pursuing the regime’s ominous objectives, including in the proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction. He said despite all the concessions unduly provided to the Tehran, the clerical regime is at a complete impasse and is extremely vulnerable in view of the economic crisis, domestic isolation and a growing power struggle.
There is a growing consensus in the United States that the West’s policy of appeasing the Iranian regime has been a total failure, Mayor Giuliani said. He added that the imperative of formulating a firm policy on Iran, namely standing with the Iranian people and the resistance to bring about change, is becoming more pervasive.
Mrs. Rajavi appreciated Mr. Giuliani’s endeavors in the campaign that led to the safe transfer of members of the Iranian resistance from Iraq to other countries, including Albania. She elaborated on the expanding and continuing activities of the Iranian resistance, particularly in Iran, especially during the shame elections and afterwards.
Mr. Giuliani expressed his support for Mrs. Rajavi’s efforts to establish democracy and human rights in Iran, noting that the Iranian Resistance is a viable alternative to the medieval regime ruling Iran
Mr. Giuliani was among 30 former senior US officials and top military commanders who issued a joint statement in support of the Iranian resistance and its objectives.
The statement said in part: “We believe that change is within reach, not only because the regime is becoming engulfed in crisis, but also because there is a large and growing movement organizing for positive change. A viable organization capable of ending the nightmare of religious dictatorship by establishing freedom and democracy, tolerance, and gender equality has steadily gained visibility, popular support and international recognition. Under the leadership of Maryam Rajavi, a Muslim woman standing for gender equality, which is an antidote to Islamic fundamentalism and extremism, it is working every day to bring about a tolerant, non-nuclear Iranian republic based on separation of religion and state, that will uphold the rights of all.”
According to the signatories, “The National Council of Resistance of Iran, pursuing its long journey that began more than a half-century ago, has the vision, leadership and courage to lead the way to the creation of a new Iran. The obligation to stand up to this corrupt and illegitimate regime and say “no more” rests with the Iranian people alone, but the international community must meet its responsibility by condemning the Mullahs’ oppression and embracing the Iranian people’s aspirations for a free and prosperous Iran accepted and respected around the world.”

Mr. Giuliani is among dozens of American and European dignitaries who will be addressing the free Iran gathering on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Paris.

THE MEK AND THE FREE IRAN RALLY

THE MEK AND THE FREE IRAN RALLY

INU - Over 100,000 dignitaries, politicians and activists will gather in Paris this Saturday to support the Iranian people and their call for regime change in Iran at the Free Iran rally.
The annual rally, organised by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), has attracted supporters of the Resistance from around the world, as far afield as Saudi royalty, US lawmakers, and European national security experts.
The MEK is the biggest member group within the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a coalition of Resistance groups, which together serve as a government in exile in France.
MEK Beginnings
The MEK can be traced back over 40 years, before the fall of the Iranian Shah in 1979. They helped to overthrow Shah Reza Pahlavi’s in the hopes of establishing a democratic government who would rule on behalf of the Iranian people, however, this was not to be.
Ruhollah Khomenei and his supporters co-opted the popular revolution in order to further subjugate the people of Iran. They took over and established a theocracy, which imposes a fundamentalist reading of Islam onto the people, rather than a democracy that was needed.
The MEK spoke out against this, noting that the Iranian Regime was barely even paying lip service to democracy by holding sham elections and having Khomenei take over as Supreme Leader and essentially serve as the dictator of Iran.
The Regime did not take kindly to this and quickly began to persecute the MEK for speaking out against them, eventually criminalising association with the MEK and imprisoning many. Most of the leaders of the MEK were forced into exile in Iraq, where they tried to bring down this second dictatorship.
Unfortunately, these efforts just led to violence of behalf of the Regime.
The Massacre
In 1988, Khomenei issued a fatwa that ordered the execution of political prisoners, who were mainly members of the MEK. This began the greatest crime against humanity since WW2.
On Iran Focus, Jubin Katiraie wrote: “The regime convened what came to be known as the Death Commission, assigning three judges the task of briefly interviewing prisoners to determine whether they retained any sympathy for the MEK or harboured any resentment toward the existing government. Those who were deemed to have shown any sign of continued opposition were sentenced to be hanged.”
It did not matter to the Regime whether a prisoner had served their sentence in full (many had), were under the age of 18, or indeed was pregnant. They slaughtered 30,000 people over a matter of months without even the semblance of justice.
The Regime hoped to eradicate the MEK, but you cannot kill an ideology. Those who survived, mainly due to not having been in prison or being in exile, were able to spread the truth about the Regime and recruit more supporters.
MEK Today
The MEK is the best resource that many international governments have for knowing what exactly goes on within Iran, as many of its members have managed to covertly infiltrate the Regime and gain access to highly classified files and locations.
In 2017 alone, the MEK has revealed that Iran is still working on the nuclear programme in breach of the 2015 nuclear deal, has a network of 14 terror training camps, and has a much more advanced ballistic missile programme than most people thought.
Their efforts are helping to shift US policy on Iran in favour of the Resistance who are warning the US about the dangers they face. It has already led to increased sanctions against the country for its support of terrorism, human rights abuses, and ballistic missiles programme, but could soon lead to the designation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation, which would mean further sanctions, or a public support for regime change in Iran.
The MEK also broadcasts news and events about the Iranian Resistance to the people of Iran, through banned satellite channels. They will do this again on Saturday, so that the people of Iran, whose internet and media is highly censored by the Regime, know that they are not alone.
Maryam Rajavi, the elected President of the Resistance, receives a great deal of support among the Iranian people, because of her ten point plan to create a non-nuclear, secular Iran, with human rights and gender equality.

What Is the Right Policy Towards Iran and the MEK?

 By Jubin Katiraie

It is sometimes now that many US officials have been talking about Iran and the actions that US must take towards Iran. In a hearing in the congress, the Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, in response to a question about the US policy towards Iran said: “Well our Iranian policy is under development. It’s not yet been delivered to the president, but I would tell you that we certainly recognize Iran’s continued destabilizing presence in the region, their payment of foreign fighters, their export of militia forces in Syria, in Iraq, in Yemen, their support for Hezbollah. And we are taking action to respond to Iran’s hegemony. Additional sanctions actions have been put in place against individuals and others.”

HAPPY EID AL-FITR

HAPPY EID AL-FITR

Iranian Resistance President-Elect, Maryam Rajavi

Congratulations for Eid al-Fitr and the conclusion of the Holy month of Ramadan to Muslims all over the world, particularly the people of Iran wherever they are.
Fitr celebrates the power of human beings in overcoming their natural instincts, a capability which in turn indicates that human beings are able to overcome and remove any barrier on the path of progress, evolution and realization of freedom.
Wishing for the end of the dark era of mullahs’ rule in Iran and consequently an end to the bloodshed, carnage and discord in the Middle East and the World of Islam.
May the Fitr of freedom and emancipation emerge ever sooner for the people of Iran and all Muslims throughout the world.

On June 19, Iran Launched 7 medium-range ballistic missiles targeting ISIS in Syria. The same day a US Navy Super Hornet shot down a Syrian Su-22. On June 20, a USAF F-15E blasted Iranian Shahed-129 armed drone out of the sky. The drone was shot down as it advanced toward the coalition-backed rebel outpost of At Tanf, near the southern Syrian border. In addition, Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, in a speech, harshly attacked the US and posted hostile tweets. “That US arms a terrorist group is what causes instability. Who created #ISIS? The US!... That the US joined the anti-ISIS coalition is a lie. They're against an unrestrained ISIS but agree with a controlled ISIS…US president accuses Iran of terrorism, while terrorism in this region has American roots…” The supreme leader twitted.

INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY MUST SUPPORT MEK/PMOI IN THE HEART OF THE IRANIAN RESISTANCE

INU - There are many around the world who are pondering what the correct diplomatic response to the Iranian Regime should be and even those at those in charge of foreign policy aren’t entirely sure, given Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson’s recent comment that the US’s Iran policy is “under development.”

Despite nuclear deal, Iran's ballistic missile program continues unabated

Despite nuclear deal, Iran's ballistic missile program continues unabated

Iran's missile program has accelerated since the signing of the nuclear agreement between Tehran and world powers in 2015, a new report by the National Council of Resistance of Iran revealed.
According to NCRI's findings, which were made public at a press conference held at the council's Washington office on Tuesday, the scope of Iran's missile program is much more extensive than was previously thought.
The report indicates that the Revolutionary Guards, which is in charge of Iran's ballistic missile program, has been carrying out operations at 42 locations, 12 of which were previously unknown. One of the reported missile complexes is tied to SPND, the organization in charge of pursuing the building of nuclear bombs.
The information disclosed by the NCRI were obtained by the People's Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the group that first revealed Iran's illicit nuclear program.
In an interview with Fox News, Alireza Jafarzadeh, deputy director of the NCRI's U.S. office, said, "The findings show the first full picture of the missile program of the Iranian regime, which is very extensive and costly. It also shows a close tie between the nuclear weapons program and the missile program."
This latest report comes against the backdrop of the Iranian regime facing setbacks at home, in the region and across the world.
"Tehran has accelerated its missile program to make up for its domestic impotence and increasing regional isolation," Jafarzadeh said. "The missile program of the regime is essential for its survival. Unfortunately the missile program of the Iranian regime has remained primarily unchecked."
The nuclear accord, also known as the JCPOA, failed to address a range of threats posed by the Iranian regime, including its terrorist meddling in countries of the region, its ballistic missile program and its abysmal human rights record.
The Obama administration, which spearheaded the negotiations that led to the hammering of the deal, believed the incentives provided by the JCPOA would dampen Iran's evil ambitions. Tuesday's revelations proved once again how wrong-placed those hopes were.
Iran has largely taken advantage of the appeasement policy and hands-off approachadopted by the previous administration to pursue its illicit agendas, marked by several ballistic missile tests and launches since signing the JCPOA.
Recent developments, however, show that the tide is shifting against the Iranian regime.
Last week, the U.S. Senate passed a bill that, if approved by the House and signed by President Trump, will slap new sanctions against the Iranian regime for its ballistic missile development, arms transfers, support for terrorism, and human rights violations.
Also, at a recent summit in Riyadh, leaders of major Arab nations underlined the dangerous nature of Iran's ballistic missile program and expressed their commitment to confront Tehran's subversive and destructive activities inside their countries.
The NCRI representatives reiterated that the Iranian people deeply oppose the regime's nuclear and missile program and its interference in the region, and called for the enactment of further sanctions against the Iranian regime's missile program and all entities that are affiliated to it. They also called for the expulsion of Iran's forces and proxies from Syria and Iraq, and the terrorist designation of the Revolutionary Guards, a measure that will be crucial to curbing Iran's nefarious deeds in the region.

Iran Opposition Unveils IRGC Missile Sites

Iran Opposition Unveils IRGC Missile Sites

A military truck carries a Sejil medium-range missile during the annual military parade
Iran has been pursuing an extensive ballistic missile program through dozens of very important sites, including twelve unknown to this day and one specifically linked to its highly sensitive and controversial nuclear program, the Iranian opposition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) revealed at a press conference Tuesday in Washington.

Iran Has Accelerated Its Missile Activities

Iran Has Accelerated Its Missile Activities

In a press conference in Washington DC on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, the US representative office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran revealed that on orders of Ali Khamenei, the Iran’s supreme leader, Tehran has accelerated its missile activities and tests After the Iran Nuclear Deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action of JCPOA.
Based on detailed intelligence obtained from inside the clerical establishment in Iran, specifically reports obtained from inside the Defense Ministry and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Coprs (IRGC), by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), Khamenei has tasked the IRGC’s Aerospace Force with executing this mandate.
The Iranian opposition has been one of the main sources of exposing secret aspects of Iran’s nuclear activities as well as the clerical establishment’s Weapons of Mass Destruction program.
The revelation coincides with rising sensitivity and concern regarding Iran’s missile program. The US Senate imposed wide ranging new sanctions on Iran, partly for
continuing and expanding its ballistic missile program last week.
The IRGC’s Aerospace Force is responsible for the regime’s missiles program and the scope of the program is much more extensive than what it was previously perceived,” said NCRI-US Deputy Director Alireza Jafarzadeh.
The Iranian opposition verified the locations of 42 centers involved in the production, testing and launching of missiles by the IRGC. A dozen of these sites were revealed for the very first time. Among the 42 sites, 15 are part of the regime’s missile manufacturing network. These 15 centers include several factories related to a missile industry group and together form a web of dozens of missile production facilities.
The MEK identified four of the most important missile centers of Iran in Semnan, Lar (in Fars Province), Khorramabad, and in the vicinity of Bidgeneh Village near Karaj city. Two of these centers are among the facilities that the ruling clerics of Iran describe as missile cities.
According to the MEK revelation, the missile center in Semnan, has been actively collaborating with SPND, the organization tasked with building a nuclear bomb. Some of the tests related to SPND organization are conducted at this site.
SPND is the Persian acronym of the engineering unit for nuclear weapons program inside the Iranian government, called the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research. The National Council of Resistance of Iran first revealed the existence of SPND in July 2011 in Washington, DC. Three years later, SPND was placed in the sanctions list.
The IRGC’s missile sites have been created based on North Korean models and blueprints. North Korean experts have helped IRGC leaders to build.
Jafarzadeh stressed that the Iranian regime has remained in power in Iran by relying on two pillars: internal repression and external export of Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism; Its illicit nuclear weapons program and its continued expansion of ballistic missiles serve its policy of export of Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism.
https://youtu.be/rSlXSIhKxUI
He added that as the regime becomes more isolated domestically and its grip on Iranian society weakens, it resorts more frantically to the second pillar of its bid to keep power. The ruling cleric in Iran has neither the capacity nor the will to set aside its policy of ballistic missile expansion. Khamenei expressly stated on May 10, 2017, “there is no difference between change of behavior and change of regime.”
Iranian leaders are united in investing in the ballistic missile program because all the factions realize the survival of their political establishment is at stake. On May 23, 2017, president Hassan Rouhani emphasized that the missile activities will continue unabated.
Jafarzadeh noted that the Iranian people, on the other hand, deeply oppose the regime’s nuclear and missile programs and its interference in the region.

He also referred to the major gathering of Iranians in Paris on July 1, during which Iranians and their international supporters including hundreds of luminaries from the world over, will declare their unequivocal opposition to the policies of export of Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism and the ruling cleric’s expansionist interventions in the region, and to its nuclear and missile programs. “The July 1, #FreeIran rally is a referendum against the religious fascism ruling Iran and its warmongering policies in the region, as well as against its nuclear and missile programs.” Jafarzadej said.
---
Finally, the conference underscored the need for
https://youtu.be/iVBHOzG2m9g
1. The enactment and enforcement of effective and broad sanctions against Iran’s missile program and all related entities, institutions, and individuals.
2. Designation of the IRGC as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) for its role as the force responsible for terrorism as well as the missile program.
3. Expulsion of the IRGC and its affiliated militias and proxies from the region, particularly from Syria and Iraq.
